Return Material Authorization (RMA):
This page defines the RMA procedure. All RMA returns will be
replaced / repaired at the discretion of Integrated Dynamics Engineering.
In order to process your defective product/item/system at IDE in a timely manner, we recommend requesting an RMA number BEFORE returning it to IDE. Please use the form at the right for requesting an RMA number.
Products that have been in use will be repaired under the terms of IDE’s warranty and not replaced with new products. You will be advised of the warranty status of your product when the RMA number is issued. Abuse, misuse, and damage are not covered under warranty. Products that have had their serial / part numbers removed, altered or are unreadable may not be acceptable for warranty repair or replacement.
Out Of Warranty
A minimum diagnostic fee will be charged and a quote will be generated for all out-of-warranty repairs. A purchase order must be submitted prior to the start of any repair work.
No Fault Found
Product(s) returned as defective, but found to have no problems may incur a ’No Fault Found Fee’. Normal maintenance and programming are not covered under warranty.
Returning Product to IDE
- Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the shipping crate / box containing the return item(s).
- All return products must be shipped freight and insurance prepaid. Damage or loss of products during shipment is the customer’s responsibility.
- All return products must be in the original packaging. Improper packing may void warranty and be subject to charge.
